Telly Award
The Media Ministries Bureau is very proud to announce the winning of two Telly Awards for the year 2001.
They are:
- "Truth A flame" - Animation Category
- "You're In The Army Now" - Employee Communication Category
"Truth Aflame" was the nine minute video featuring a number of animations showing the USA Eastern Territory in the year 2025. Such visuals as Underwater Corps, Robot Kettle workers, Moon Corps, and Mobile Corps were featured.
"You're In The Army Now" was a unique approach to employee orientation, using Carol Jaudes, Ian Evans, and Lt. Jim Jacobs who acted out the first day of a new employee in The Salvation Army workplace. Dorothy Post wrote the script, and the concept idea was developed by Tom Baker.
We are most proud of David Baker, Ian Evans, Andrew Maxwell, Anita Schultz, Tom Big (our editor), and Jim Humphrey (our animator) for their hard work and ministry not only in these two projects, but their year round work for this territory's Media Ministries Bureau. And a special thanks to our administration for allowing us to 'pull out the stops' in our video creativity.
